Adventure

Hunting zones

Around the town lie 13 regions with 50 hunting zones, from level 1 meadows to the level 99 abyss in the far south-east. Past the dragon cliffs (level 49) the frostlands, ashlands, gloom marsh, sky ruins and abyss hold the toughest monsters; they drop only a little more Coin, but better gear. Each zone has one kind of monster with its own signature gear drop.

Heroes choose zones themselves: they go where they can win safely, and only sometimes try something riskier. Loot goes into the hero's bag (3 pieces) and has to be carried home. A hero knocked out on the way loses what it carried.

Drops are rare: about one kill in a thousand drops the monster's signature gear piece. Now and then a monster drops a spell tome instead, which goes straight to your warehouse. Higher-level monsters drop rarer tomes, and bosses drop them more often and of a higher rarity. Each monster's card shows its odds.

Dungeons

Dungeons appear on their own while the game is open — a new one every few hours, up to 3 at a time, each lasting 36 hours.

  1. Pick a dungeon and a party of 3–5 heroes, then pay the entry fee in Coin.
  2. Each member explores and fights on its own; the party's progress is the best member's.
  3. Clear it for Crystal, a gear chest and a chance at spell tomes. Boss dungeons end with a boss fight.
  4. If every member is down at once, or the party is knocked out too often, the run fails and the fee is lost.

Dungeons are the main source of Crystal.

Daily boss

Every game day, all towns on the server face the same boss. The boss never dies — it's a damage race.

If you close the game while your party is fighting the boss, the remaining rounds are cancelled.
